RUNNING OF GANPATI SPECIAL TRAINS  ON KONKAN RAILWAY DURING GANPATI FESTIVAL

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Special Trains on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival in co-ordination with Central Railway.  The details are as under :-

1). Train no. 01001/01002 Mumbai CST – Madgaon -Mumbai CST Reserved special

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run additional Special  Trains during Ganpati festival between Bandra Terminus-Karmali–Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad–Karmali – Ahmedabad  to clear extra rush  of passengers in co-ordination with Western  Railway. Details of train services are given as under :-

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to introduce new Trains between  Indore & Kochuveli in co-ordination with Western  Railway. Details of trains services are given as under :-

Introductory Train No. 09332 Indore – Kochuveli Special Train

Introductory  Train No. 19332 Indore - Kochuveli as 09332 Special Train will leave from  Indore at 17:35  hrs on 28.06. 2016 (Tuesday). Train will reach Kochuveli at 17.45 hrs  on Third Day.

Booking for Velankanni Special Train

Good news for passengers !!  Booking of Train no. 00105 Thivim to Velankani via. Mangalore, Shoranur on 28.08.2015 as Velankanni Specials on special fare will start through PRS counters w.e.f. 27.08.2015.

Passengers may avail the services.

Booking for Ganapati Special Trains

Good news for passengers !!  Booking of Train No. 01005 / 01006 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Madgaon – Lokmanya Tilak (T) and Train No. 01025/ 01026 Lokmanya Tilak(T) – Karmali – Lokmanya Tilak (T)  Ganapati Specials on special fare will start through PRS counters w.e.f. 14.08.2015.

Passengers may avail the same.

As per the notification received from Southern Railway, it has been decided to Originate/ Terminate Train No. 56640/56641 Mangalore -Madgaon – Mangalore Passenger at Mangalore Junction w.e.f. 16/11/2015 to 15/12/2015 due to major repair work being carried out at pit line No. 3 of Mangalore Yard

It has been decided to run following Suvidha Express special trains on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during feast of Our Lady of Good Health at Velankanni festival between Vasco-Da-Gama & Velankanni in co-ordination with South Western Railway.  The details are as under :-

In order to further strengthen the commitment towards better Customer Services, Konkan Railway has introduced an innovative and unique “Shravan Seva” Services for Senior Citizens travelling over Konkan Railway Route.  This Scheme includes extending a Helping Hand to them by providing an Attendant to carry their luggage at boarding / alighting points.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to countinue the run of Super  Fast Suvidha Special Trains between Indore – Kochuveli – Indore (Weekly) on Konkan Railway route with existing Composition, Path and Timings in co-ordination with Western Railway.  The details are as under :-
